What you will do

Support the research efforts at the Laboratory for Telecommunication Sciences by providing your radio frequency and network engineering experience.

Specifically:

• Assess the governance and business processes to identify gaps and areas for process improvements across the portfolio.
• Assess multiple networks to assess security compliance, updating security plans, and providing accurate network diagrams for multiple networks.
• Work with 7 different research teams to understand their hardware and software purchase requirements and facilitate the completion of government purchase process by drafting documentation, justifications, as well as ensuring the purchases are within compliance standards.
• Support the purchase process for hardware and software by helping to draft documentation, justifications, and ensure the purchase are within compliance standards.
• Streamline processes by utilizing experience with Cisco Intersight and similar capabilities.
• Provide expertise related to combining multiple network domains into a single domain.
• Facilitate the consolidation of multiple networks into a single network.

What you will need

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type and complexity is required.

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
