Systems Engineer Support (Lifecycle Acquisitions-Senior)

Location: Springfield, VA

We seek a highly motivated Systems Engineer Support (lifecycle Acquisitions-Senior) candidate to join our team. The candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to undergo a CI Polygraph. The location is Springfield, VA, and the position is full-time on-site.

Overall Assignment Description:

• Functions as the advisor for the Government Technical POC and the Orchestration Services (OrcSrvcs) Project Management Office.

• Provide technical support and assistance to the Government POC on programmatic matters related to life cycle engineering. Duties include:

• Provide internal Program Office support with assessing system, program, and product development across the OrcSrvcs various component programs lifecycle.

Review all developer products and artifacts and provide feedback.

• Review all standards and policy changes and assess for impact.

• Attend and participate in ERBs and CCBs.

• Support requirements management and traceability activities, including allocation and coordination across dependent programs of record.

• Support requirements elicitation and negotiation efforts.

• Support requirements verification and validation activities. • Support all ASP/ISP activity. Actively engage with the ISP PMOs (on-prem and cloud-based) in terms of planning for anticipated technology improvements, upgrades, roadmaps, and schedules.

• Support PMO efforts to identify, track, and monitor schedule and technical risks.

• Provide information for updates to the annual Intelligence Capability Baseline Description (ICBD), the Independent Lifecycle Cost Estimate (I-LCCE), and the OMB-300 Exhibits (or similar for MSA requirements) for IPA/Orchestration Services programs.

• Assist with the development of briefing documents for the CORE, ERBs, CCBs, IPTs, and Analysis Technology Lines of Business forums.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Demonstrated specialized experience in information technology requirements development and Government acceptance testing. (note: both required)
  3. Demonstrated specialized project management experience in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk. (note: both required)

Desired:

  1. Demonstrated specialized experience with Intelligence Community or DoD systems architecture and engineering.
  2. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  3. Demonstrated specialized experience with the NGA Mission and acquisition Process.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of NGA legacy systems.
  5. Demonstrated specialized experience with NGA requirements and engineering process.
